Often referred to by his faithfuls as the most underrated artiste in Nigeria, Brymo has successfully aced six albums, his most recent masterpiece being Klitoris. A ten-tracked album with headliners such as “Something Good is Happening”, “Alajo Somolu” and “Dem dey go”.
Known for his afro-soul lyrics, blended in poetry and effusive melody, his twitter controversies, his differing kind of feminism, the Klitoris crooner in anticipation of his seventh album coming in early 2018 has gifted us a new single, an infusion of of jazz and afrobeats titled “Do you Know Me” .
The song tells of one of the common challenges independent women in this part of the world face, always someone, somewhere reminding them of their places as women; usually low and condescending. But the woman in Brymo’s “Do you know me?” will have none of that and hence the title.
