At the early stage of his career, Skales signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment after meeting Banky W. in 2009. He released the singles “Mukulu” and “Keresimesi” simultaneously.
Skales has proven over time that he is here to stay as he continues to rise to the top of his career.
After successfully acing singles like “Shake Body” and his sophomore album, The Never Say Never Guy album, Skales has hit the Nigerian airwaves yet again with his new single titled ‘Agolo‘.
Produced by Chopstix, ‘Agolo’ is a blend of traditional Yoruba and contemporary beats, with bits of the culturally old school.
Skales is overly excited in this party starter, mostly sung in Yoruba, it translates to Skales being so fly he can dance on a milk tin and very well too. And as it is the norm with Nigerian artistes, there has has to be some kind of boasting about a Ferrari or designer shoes. This time however, Skales is feeling like the the son of a president and he lives in a big residence.
It is almost impossible to listen to Agolo and not move your body. The fusion of old and modern sounds make it suitable for any kind of dance.
